WHAT IS GREEK DISCOVERY DAY?
Greek Discovery Day is a wonderful opportunity to visit Oklahoma State University and see what fraternity and sorority life is all about! High school juniors, seniors, current non-Greek OSU students and their parents are invited to come meet members of the OSU fraternity and sorority community and learn more about the recruitment process, the benefits of fraternity/sorority membership and all that’s great about “going Greek.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where can I park?
For a campus-wide parking map, click here.
The morning sessions will be held in Gallagher-Iba Arena as noted above. We recommend that participants and their families park in any lot not designated as a Posse Lot (Black, Blue, Orange Stars) on the map at the following link: http://www.okstateposse.com/documents/2012-POSSE-WBB-WR-parking.pdf.
After lunch, the parent/guardian session will be held in the same location and the chapter tours will start/depart from Library Lawn. We recommend that parents/guardians drop participants off and return to a parking spot near the Arena.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably! You will be walking around and possibly sitting on the ground, so the most important thing is to be comfortable and to dress appropriately for the weather. Make sure to watch the weather!
Panhellenic Council Participants: This day is very similar to the first round of recruitment, so the attire is casual.
Dos: Nice shorts, capris, nice jeans and a cute top, T-shirt or a sundress, comfortable strappy sandal, tennis shoes or flats.
Don'ts: Tattered/ripped jeans, low cut tops, short shorts or skirts and high heels.
IFC Participants: Dress how you feel comfortable; you will be visiting every fraternity on campus.
Dos: Shorts, jeans, or khakis, a collared shirt or nice t-shirt and comfortable shoes.
Don'ts: T-shirts with inappropriate logos or graphics, tattered/ripped jeans or shorts.
Are there evening events I can attend?
Yes! Fraternities host a number of events on Saturday night that are open to students and guests. More detailed information will be provided at Greek Discovery Day registration on the morning of the event.
What do I do if I register and then decide I can't attend?
For those that think you will be unable to attend, please let us know in advance, and we will be able to get you a full refund prior to March 22nd.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
Regardless of the weather conditions, we WILL be having the event as scheduled. Since there will be tours going on, we recommend that you watch the weather and dress accordingly. If you have concerns about the weather or otherwise, please contact us at 405-744-5490.
