Game Day Parking Options

Every Cowboy and Cowgirl knows it can be hard to find a hitchin’ post in Stillwater on a game day so here are a few options for parking on and around campus on game days.

Student Union parking garage – $15.00 for the day – The Student Union parking garage features mostly covered parking spaces on three levels, easy access to the Student Union which contains a food court, restrooms and ATMs and is only three blocks to Boone Pickens Stadium.

Downtown stillwater parking shuttlePark for free in downtown Stillwater on 7th and Lewis St. Enjoy game day shopping and dining before catching a courtesy shuttle to Boone Pickens Stadium. Shuttle service begins 3 hours prior to kickoff and continues throughout post-game, with pick-up/drop-off approximately every 15 minutes.

On-campus parking spaces - Our enforcement hours for parking on campus are from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday except where noted (i.e. Colvin Center or at reserved spaces for emergency, handicapped or physical plant vehicles) Visitors can park anywhere on campus as long as there is not a sign designating the lot or the space as reserved.

Community parking – Many community groups use game day parking revenue as a means to support their programs or charities.  Parking lots near Boone Pickens stadium operated by church or civic groups offer convenient parking for $5.00 to $25.00 depending on location.

Parking along city streets is allowed as long as your vehicle is not blocking a driveway, a fire zone or is left in a “no parking zone” as indicated by street signs.

A parking lot benefitting the United Way is managed by the Division of Student Affairs on game days and is located just south of the University Avenue and Hester Street intersection.  Parking is $15.00 and tailgating is allowed.
