Camp Cowboy

Prepare yourself to discover new friends, new experiences and new ideas at Camp Cowboy! Each year Camp Cowboy offers hundreds of first-year students with a time they never will forget. Camp Cowboy is a fun-filled three-day freshman orientation experience that includes small group activities, a ropes course, camp fires and much more! It is designed to prepare students to experience the best of what OSU has to offer. Your Camp Cowboy experience will provide an opportunity to meet other incoming freshmen, "experienced" OSU students, faculty and staff - all leading to an easier transition into college life and giving you an opportunity to create a support network within the University community. We hope to see you at one of the camps this summer! A limited number of fee waivers are available for students who qualify. For more information, please contact the Camp Cowboy office.
This year's camps will be during five different weekends. The 2008 camp dates are as follows:
- Camp 1 - June 20-22-Full
- Camp 2 - June 27-29-Full
- Camp 3 - July 11-13- Full
- Camp 4 - July 18-20
- Camp 5 - July 25-27
Refund Policy:
80% Refund :
If you cancel 30-days prior to your assigned camp date
50% Refund:
If you cancel less then 30-days, but more then 10-days before your assigned camp.

If you request a camp date change, then cancel, no refund allowed.
