"I think OSU is a far richer university, than it would have been if we had remained essentially isolationist...Having (students from) the different nations on our campus makes us a better institution."

- Robert B. Kamm, President of OSU, 1966-77

Our Past

The Oklahoma State University (OSU) family of students, faculty and alumni are honored to note many areas of achievement in teaching, research and extension/outreach, service to international students in various countries around the world has always been a source of pride. Generally recognized as the first American university to assist "developing nations" of the world. OSU has shared its collective "know-how", on-campus and abroad with citizens from over 100 different nations.

Our Purpose

Continuing effective international support is of highest priority to OSU. To this end, the Committee for International Student Scholarships was created. This committee is dedicated to researching and generating funds for international student scholarships. These scholarships help to provide opportunities for international students to study at OSU benefiting the student, enriching our university, and impacting our world.

Our People

Scholarships are possible through the support from our local and international partners. These partners have captured the vision and provide financial support through single monetary donations or endowments. These donations may be given to country-specific scholarships, or for the creation of new ones. Join us in this effort as OSU seeks to embrace our global community.
