THE SUAB MOVIE THIS WEEK...
The Goonies is showing this week for the SUAB Drive-In Movie on Friday, March 7. The showing will be located on the top level of the Student Union Parking Garage. Parking begins at 9:00 pm and the movie begins at 10:00 pm. Admission is FREE!

TAX HELP FOR INTERNATIONALS 2008 WORKSHOPS TO SHOW YOU HOW TO USE SPECIAL SOFTWARE AND HOW TO COMPLETE OKLAHOMA TAX FORMS
Bring any tax forms you have such as W-2 or 1042-S or 1099. You must know your passport number. Please also bring a hard copy of your last year’s tax return.

HISPANIC AWARENESS WEEK
Hispanic Awareness Week continues Thursday, March 6th and Friday March 7th.
Thursday, March 6th: Latin Night from 6-9 pm on the Willard Porch. Admission is FREE!
Friday, March 7th: Latin Dance “Noche de Reventòn!” from 10 pm - 2 am. Location to be announced. Admission is $5 at the door.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
Celebrate International Women's Day March 8th - Support Girls Soccer and Education in Kenya
A fundraising auction will take place at the Stillwater YMCA (204 S. Duck) on Saturday March 8th from 2.30-4.30pm.The event will feature a Congolese Dance Performance, a DVD presentation of the Score for Sasja Fund, and an auction of Kenyan items and Official OSU Athletics Team Items. Come enjoy the show, eat some Mandazis, and bid on a football signed by Coach Gundy if you like! All proceeds will go to the Score for Sasja Fund which seeks to promote girls soccer and secondary education in impoverished slum areas in Nairobi, Kenya.

AFRICAN NIGHT 2008
The African Student Organization will be having the annual African Night at the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday March 8th.The theme is "UMOJA" meaning "Spirit of Togetherness". There will be dance performances, fashion show, guest performances and lots more. The show starts by 5:00pm and there will be a dinner with a variety of African Dishes served from 7:00pm.
Tickets are sold in front of the Student Union Bookstore from 10:00am-4:00pm. They are $8 before March 8th and $10 on March 8th. Tickets can be charged to Bursar.

This week at iSo March 3, 2008 – March 7, 2008
The International Student Organization is hosting its BIGGEST event of the year: Cultural Night 2008. The event will be held at 7pm Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th in the Seretean Center. This two night extravaganza is an opportunity for our 14 International Area Clubs to display their respective cultures and spotlight the tremendous diversity found right here in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Cultural Night is the culmination of both fall and spring semesters’ long list of international events across campus. This year, our theme is “Unity in Diversity.” We would like to invite people to come and enjoy our show. Tickets will be sold at the Chi-O-Clock or in front of the Student Union Bookstore from March 10 – March 28 (not including Spring break March 17- March 21). To reserve tickets, call us at 405-744-6506 or e-mail iso@orgs.okstate.edu. On Friday, tickets are $8/person and $3/person under 18. On Saturday, tickets are $8/person. Cash and Bursar Charges are accepted.

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources would like to invite you to participate in a nine-day Study Abroad program in Costa Rica. This course presents an opportunity to make new friends and experience the wonders of Central America.
Costa Rica Study Abroad Course – AG 3080 (I) / AGEC 5990
Earn three Graduate Credits and Visit Costa Rica
Date of Travel: Monday June 16, 2008 – June 24, 2008
Three Undergraduate/Graduate Credits: You will earn three undergraduate credits from OSU (satisfies the “I” international dimension of the general education requirements at OSU).
Course Cost: Total $2,690 (trip cost which includes international airfare, tuition, room and board, admission fees, local transportation). This is one of the lowest study abroad courses offered!
Scholarships: You will be eligible to apply for $500.00 scholarships from the Study Abroad Office at OSU on a first-come-first-served basis (more detailed info is attached). Also, check with your academic advisor for the availability of college-level scholarships.
If you are interested, in order to save your spot, fill out the application form from the website given below and pay the deposit of $150.00. The full payment needs to be at my office by March 25. The application is available on the following website:
