Background
Continuous Open Recruitment (COR) is an alternative form of recruitment for women interested in joining the OSU fraternity and sorority community. It is an informal recruitment process that begins after the completion of recruitment in the fall and concludes during pre-finals week of the Spring semester. Many women find the informal, relaxed atmosphere of open recruitment as a less stressful and more enjoyable way to find a home in fraternity and sorority community at OSU.
The participating organizations will hold events and activities to meet interested women. Some of these activities include dinner, a movie night, going to a football game, an ice cream party, bowling, etc.
Any woman who wishes to participate in COR should complete the online registration process using the link provided above.
The participating organizations will have access to the information submitted online and will contact interested women throughout the school term. Eligible chapters may extend bids to potential new members at any time. Please be aware that not all Panhellenic organizations participate in COR, and the number of groups that participate varies from year to year.
