Services at the Union
The Union offers unsurpassed services to those who walk through its doors. Through the Campus Life Center in the basement and the beautiful Student Services Center, OSU's visitors have an invaluable number of resources at their disposal.
Campus Life, located in the basement, builds campus communities and enhances the academic experience through a variety of cultural, educational, leadership, service, social and recreational programs. The department serves more than 375 student organizations, offering assistance from professional staff.
The Food Court, located on the first floor, offers a wide variety of dining options with the convenience of being able to use the University Meal Plan. Tantalize your taste buds with a diverse selection of food options including Taco Mayo, Chick-fil-A, Viva Italian and Sushi with Gusto - just to name a few!
Meeting and Conference Services assists with planning meetings, conferences or retreats accommodating from 10 to 1,000 people. Guests may choose from 18 meeting venues, including a grand Ballroom, to host their next event. Meeting rooms are equipped with wireless Internet connections, audio-visual equipment and furnishings to fit everyone’s needs. Flexible, affordable catering options also are available.
Student Lounges are located throughout the building offering comfortable chairs, couches and tables for students to study. (The environment is so relaxed that some students also have been caught “cat napping” in between classes!) The newest lounge, located on the fourth floor, features a big screen television, a snack bar and a variety of games.
Surrounding the Student Union Atrium is the Student Services Center. Opened in 1999, the center offers first-rate services that all students utilize include the Bursar’s Office, Financial Aid, Registration Services and Undergraduate Admissions. The Student Union also is home to a number of other important services which do not fall under its budgetary unit. They include Board of Regents, Career Resource Center, Career Services, Cowboy Shuttle, ID Services, Legal Counsel, Multicultural Center, Office of Scholar Development and Recognition, Student Conduct Office, Student Disability Services, Study Abroad Office, Telecom Services and University Counseling Services.
