Meal Plans

The meal plans for the 2009-2010 academic year are among the most flexible in the nation. They allow you the customer to decide where you want to eat, when you want, and as often as you want. New features this year include an expanded carryover program, and more buying power thanks to new plan amounts.

The meal plans are based on a declining dollars system, and were designed according to student input. You purchase a particular plan, and each time you eat in a dining option, an amount is deducted from your balance. In the all-you-care-to-eat options, the amount deducted depends on the meal plan you have. In the a la carte options, the exact amount you spend will be deducted from your meal plan.

The plans feature a semester-to-semester carryover, as long as a dining contract is in place. For example, For example, if you have Gold meal plan, you will be able to transfer up to $280 unused meal plan dollars from fall to spring, or spring to summer, or spring to fall - whichever is the next semester for which you have a dining plan contract.
