Late Night Cafe Returns
OSU Tradition Returns for Finals Week
It's been a part of the Student Union culture for more than 30 years and is often cited by many OSU students as one of their favorite OSU memories. It's Late Night Cafe. Late Night Cafe, sponsored by Student Union Activities Board, is an opportunity for staff and faculty members to serve students free pancakes and beverages in preparation of a rigorous finals schedule and to thank them for their hard work. Almost 50 different staff and faculty members volunteer their services in making the event a success. Volunteers are responsible for everything from preparing the batter, stocking the condiments, making sure there is enough ice and, of course, making the pancakes. Last year alone, more than 35,000 pancakes were served to deserving OSU students.
Late Night Cafe will be open nightly Monday, Dec. 9 through Thursday, Dec. 12 from 10 p.m. to midnight at Passport in the Student Union Food Court.
